Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a Client based in Bristol, are looking for an experienced Employment Lawyer to join their team and play a crucial role within their Legal Services.
Position: Employment Lawyer
Rate: £60 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: Temp (Dec 2027) Possible Extension
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver clear, commercial, and solutions-focused advice to HR teams, chief officers, and elected members on day-to-day employment issues.
- Manage Employment Tribunal claims, draft pleadings and witness statements, settle cases, or instruct external counsel when required.
- Handle a full, varied, and intellectually challenging caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation - Desirable.
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
