Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in West Midlands, are looking for an experienced Arboriculture Officer to join their team and play a crucial role within their Governance Operations.
Position: Arboriculture Officer
Rate: £28.32 p/h Umbrella
Contract Duration: 7 months with Possible Extension
Working Arrangement: Fully Onsite
Job Duties:
- Lead the regional arboriculture team, manage budgets, and conduct Visual Tree Assessments (VTA) to advise risk officers and legal teams on tree safety.
- Act as the Organisations expert advisor for internal teams and the public, ensuring strict compliance with Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs) and planning legislation.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience working as an Arboriculture Officer or similar role.
- Previous experience working for a Local Authority or similar organisation.
- Recognised arboriculture qualification to national diploma level or above.
