Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in Hampshire, are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their team and play a crucial role within their Finance Operation
Role: Accounts Payable Officer
Pay: Β£18.85 ph Umbrella
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Contract Length: 6 months
Location: Hampshire
Responsibilities:
- To process invoices ensuring timely and accurate payment of legitimate invoices.
- To process all residential, nursing, block and domiciliary payments as per agreed contracts including making direct payments and auto payments.
- Handling the recovery of any overpayments.
- Administration of relevant bank accounts in accordance with Council policies and practice.
- To provide information and advice to managers regarding supplier or client queries.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience working for a Local Authority or similar organisation.
- Experience working in a Accounts Payable Officer or similar role
