Residential Conveyancing Assistant / Paralegal

Location: Ellesmere Port (Office-Based)
Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 (DOE)
Bonus: Quarterly Bonus Scheme

We are seeking a Residential Conveyancing Assistant or Paralegal to join our clients busy Conveyancing Department based in Ellesmere Port. This is an office-based role supporting three fee earners, working closely alongside one other experienced support staff member.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with Residential conveyancing experience who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team while handling a broad range of residential property matters.

The Role

You will provide comprehensive support across the full conveyancing process, assisting fee earners from instruction through to completion on a variety of transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting fee earners on residential sales, purchases, and remortgages
• Assisting with files from initial instruction to post-completion
• Preparing legal documentation and correspondence
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and solicitors
• Opening and managing files on the LEAP case management system
• Ensuring files are compliant, accurate, and progressed efficiently

About You

• At least 1 year’s experience in a residential conveyancing role is beneficial
• Experience handling sales, purchases, and remortgages
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload
• Confident communicator with a professional client-focused approach
• Experience using LEAP or a similar case management system is advantageous
• A team player who can also work independently when required
