Temporary Staffing Agency (TSA) is recruiting an experienced Band 8c Pharmacist to join an NHS Medicines Aseptic Services Team in Salisbury on a locum basis.

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing

Location: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

The Pharmacist Role

This is a senior pharmacy leadership role within Aseptic Services, acting as the Deputy Accountable Pharmacist for Aseptic Services and supporting the safe, effective, and compliant delivery of aseptic preparations. The successful candidate will provide professional leadership, clinical expertise, and operational oversight within the aseptic unit, ensuring services are delivered in accordance with relevant regulatory, quality assurance, and governance standards. You will work closely with pharmacy, clinical, and operational teams to support service development and maintain high-quality patient care.

Pharmacist Requirements

  • GPhC-registered Pharmacist
  • Significant current experience working within Aseptic Services at a Pharmacist
  • Previous experience at senior pharmacist level within an NHS or equivalent healthcare setting
  • Experience acting as, or supporting, an Accountable Pharmacist for Aseptic Services
  • Extensive knowledge of aseptic preparation, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong leadership, service development, and team management skills
  • Experience contributing to governance, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Excellent communication and multidisciplinary team working skills
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the assignment
