Temporary Staffing Agency (TSA) is recruiting an experienced Neuro Occupational Therapist to join a specialist Neuro Rehabilitation Team within a leading Private Hospital in Birmingham on a locum basis.
Start Date: September 2026
End Date: April 2027
Location: Birmingham
Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday-Friday
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Occupational Therapist to work within a dedicated Neuro Rehabilitation Service, supporting patients across both inpatient and outpatient settings. The successful candidate will manage a varied neurological caseload, delivering comprehensive assessments, rehabilitation programmes, and treatment plans to support patients in maximising their independence and functional outcomes.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary neuro rehab team, you will assess and treat patients with a range of neurological conditions and contribute to goal setting, discharge planning, and ongoing rehabilitation programmes.
Requirements
- HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience working within Neurological Rehabilitation
- Experience managing both inpatient and outpatient neuro caseloads
- Strong experience in Upper Limb Assessment and Rehabilitation
- Experience carrying out Cognitive Function Assessments
- Excellent assessment, treatment planning, and rehabilitation skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication, documentation, and organisational skills
- Experience supporting patients with complex neurological conditions is desirable
- Must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the assignment
