The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Paediatric Audiologist to join a busy NHS Audiology Department, delivering high-quality diagnostic and rehabilitation services for children and young people. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist audiological assessments, contribute to patient management plans, and support the delivery of a safe, effective, and patient-centred service. The scope of practice will be determined by your experience, clinical skills, and competencies. For full-time candidates, there is an expectation of
8 clinical sessions and 2 administrative sessions per week . The department is also open to discussing flexible working arrangements and revised job plans for part-time applicants where possible.
Requirements
Relevant Audiology qualification and professional registration where applicable Previous experience working at
Band 7 level
or equivalent Significant experience within
Paediatric Audiology Strong diagnostic and clinical assessment skills Experience managing paediatric audiology caseloads independently Excellent communication and patient-centred care skills Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team Strong organisational, administrative, and documentation skills Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) Must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the assignment
