We’re looking for a talented and motivated Second Pizza Chef to join our small, passionate team. Someone who loves working with dough, appreciates great ingredients and takes pride in the details.. .
The role.
- Preparing dough, managing fermentation, dividing and balling.
- Stretching, topping and baking pizzas in our PizzaMaster deck oven.
- Preparing fresh ingredients, sauces and daily mise en place.
- Delivering quality, consistency and efficiency during busy services.
- Supporting the Head Pizza Chef and stepping up when needed.
- Getting involved in R&D, new product sourcing, seasonal specials and menu development.
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness and kitchen organisation.
What we’re looking for.
- Previous hands‑on experience with pizza and dough.
- Good understanding of fermentation, preferments (including biga) and dough handling.
- Solid knife skills and confidence with fresh ingredient preparation.
- Strong attention to detail and appreciation for quality produce.
- Ability to work efficiently, stay calm under pressure and take initiative.
- A positive attitude, team spirit and genuine passion for food.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends.
- Right to work in the UK.
