About the Role
Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people? We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in a residential children's home in Lincolnshire. You will play a key role in providing high-quality, trauma-informed care and creating a safe, nurturing environment where young people can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Build trusting, positive relationships with children and young people through consistent, trauma-informed care
- Support daily routines including education, meals, hobbies, and recreational activities
- Assist with emotional, behavioural, and developmental needs in line with individual care plans
- Promote a safe, stable, and nurturing environment that supports healing and personal growth
- Follow safeguarding and health regulations
Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people in residential, educational, or social care settings (desirable)
- Understanding of safeguarding, trauma-informed practice, and attachment theory
- Ability to stay calm, patient, and responsive in challenging situations
- Strong communication skills
