We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Deputy Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our Children's Home. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and have a passion for helping children achieve their full potential. This role is pivotal in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment while fostering a nurturing atmosphere for both staff and children. We are looking for a committed and passionate deputy manager who can give high levels of care to our children and allow them to achieve positive outcomes.
Duties:
- Assist the Registered Manager in overseeing daily duties and staff management.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and Ofsted regulations.
- You will ensure the care and welfare of each child and give support and guidance to the wider staff team.
- Using your life skills, you will have the opportunity to make a huge difference within a child's life, create positive therapeutic relationships with them, meeting their individual needs and always ensure they are safeguarded.
- You will be responsible for staff supervision, leading shifts, managing staff rotas, chairing staff meetings, and ensuring support plans and risk assessments remain current and are adhered to.
- Ensuring that the child's education is paramount.
