Warehouse Manager – Hayes, Middlesex Our client, who are a well-established and fast growing, FMCG goods supplier, are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager.

The role involves managing a small warehouse (approx 9,500 square feet), a small warehouse team, overseeing all warehouse operations and Health & Safety on site.

The Warehouse Manager will be primarily responsible for the safe receipt and storage of Goods In, accurately picking and loading orders on to shipping containers and ensuring the timely delivery of the containers to their port destinations.

Key Features of role: Managing all processes and functions within a busy warehouse.

Managing a team of approximately 4 to 5 employees within the warehouse.

Co-ordinating racking and storing.

Maintaining high standards of materials handling.

Operating a BENDI Forklift Truck to load/unload stock (Training & Certification to be provided by company) Liaising with Office Admin teams to process and pick customer orders Responsible for the warehouse security and accountability Planning and executing loading of stock on to shipping containers Ensuring stock levels are managed and controlled effectively.

Ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety regulations.

Producing incident and performance reports for managing directors.

Making sure that all freight receipts and paperwork are recorded accurately Ensuring all deliveries are carried out in time.

Scheduling work & rotas to meet fluctuations in staffing levels & workloads.

Leading, motivating, training and developing staff.

Updating & maintaining computerised & paper based administrative records.

Responsible for the staff disciplinary & grievance procedures.

Key holder responsibility for Warehouse and to ensure safe site opening and closure.

Key Skills/Experience

Required: - 3-5 years’ experience as a Warehouse Manager, ideally within a fast moving environment and must be physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks - Must be trustworthy and dependable and support the Directors to run an efficient warehouse service - Experience of operating a Forklift Truck, ideally BENDI truck, but it can be Reach/Counterbalance - Knowledge and experience of end to end management of Warehouse functions, from Goods In to warehouse storage/stock control, all the way to despatch and container loading - Well versed in Warehouse Health & Safety and best practice - Must have a Full UK Drivers Licence or live close to Warehouse in Hayes - Strong man management skills, with the ability to lead others to meet company objectives - Able to commit to working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm (no weekend work required) - Good written and spoken English communication skills - Ability to use Microsoft Office systems (Word, Excel, Outlook) This role offers an immediate start, working for a well-established and fast growing business.
