Job Description: Night Response Officer (BANK) Location: London Borough of Hillingdon and surrounding areas Reports to: Field Liaison Supervisor / Service Manager Shift Pattern: 9:30pm to 7:30am CCS Homecare Services are providing essential care to the elderly and vulnerable adults across the London Borough of Hillingdon. This is a really rewarding key worker role, which offers a real feel good factor, whilst offering opportunities to progress your career in a secure and fast growing industry sector. Due to continued expansion, we are looking for Night Response Officers who are truly passionate about delivering high quality care to vulnerable adults within the community. It is necessary for you to have a background in care, we are also looking for individuals with empathy, compassion, creativity and commitment and those who genuinely want to make a positive difference to other people’s lives. You will work alongside colleagues from other teams; the role will operate as a visiting support worker to resolve urgent problems experienced by a service user/resident, where emergency services are not required. In addition to ensuring that all residents living independently have an appropriate range of community based support option for their unscheduled support needs, to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions or emergency call outs. Key responsibilities will include; but not be limited to: * Co-located within the TeleCareLine team ready to provide an immediate response to all alerts into TeleCareLine that require a visit but do not require emergency services. This will range from supporting un-injured fallers to personal care needs and property related issues within sheltered schemes. Operating both as part of a team and individually as determined by the individual circumstances. * Providing emergency personal care for both male and female service users as required * Providing mobility support to service users in an emergency situation, using appropriate lifting equipment to lift uninjured fallers. * Completing appropriate dynamic H&S risk assessment for all situations handled. * Ensuring individuals who have raised an alert are safe and secure; this may involve organising the security of the property, or engaging additional support/emergency services. * Acting as a trusted assessor reviewing the need for simple equipment to maintain an individuals ongoing safety. * Ensuring confidentiality at all times and respect the service users individuality, equity and diversity and contribute to providing a Re-ablement service that is sensitive to these needs * Maintaining the service users dignity, choice and control at all times and escalate immediately any concerns e.g. safeguarding, neglect * Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all incidents via the companies application or any other applications * Dealing with Police and other emergency services * Other duties as required Requirements: * Have a Full Uk Driving License and access to a car. * Business Insurance. * Good verbal communication skills * Written standard of written English * Commitment, enthusiasm, flexibility, professionalism * To have knowledge of personal care requirements of users, and the ability to provide efficient effective personal and physical care to service users. * Experience in care required Good problem-solving skills and a solution focused approach * Positive and friendly nature, with a ‘can-do’ attitude * Being able to effectively manage GPS and navigation system in order to provide community care Benefits: * Permanent Contract * Competitive Salary Structure + overtime available * Business mileage paid * Full Paid Training Offered – with on-going training and Learning & Development * Key Worker Letter/ID Badge issued * Full P.P.E.
