The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Hours: 40 hours per week, working a five out of seven-day shift pattern (including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis).

The role

In this dual functioning role, you will be working under the direction of the Regional Store Manager and alongside a small team. Our Site Managers play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the store and providing customers with the service they know and love. Our Site Managers spend much of the day managing the site autonomously, and are responsible for supporting the team in terms of maximising sales and profit targets, helping customers with anything they may need and ensuring the site is clean and well maintained.

What you'll do

  • Site Management
  • Accountable for the development and growth of every aspect of the site.
  • Ensure all revenue and growth targets are achieved.
  • Complete all reasonable maintenance and repairs.
  • Take effective control of all costs within reasonable jurisdiction.
  • Convert sales and help customers make informed decisions.
  • Achieve sales targets by maximising sales opportunities.
  • Provide stellar customer service, resolve complaints and address concerns, always keeping the company values in mind.
  • Maintenance and Administration
    • Take pride in the site and maintain excellent standards.
    • Carry out basic maintenance tasks on a daily basis, including painting, cleaning and small DIY jobs.
    • Keep the site safe and healthy for staff and customers.
    • Keep company systems, policies and procedures running smoothly, and assist with the creation and implementation of marketing plans to promote the store and create brand awareness.
    • Promote the store in the local community by networking and liaising with local shops and businesses.
  • Charity Participation
    • We are committed to Corporate Social Responsibility, and we all dedicate 1% of our working time to volunteering or raising funds for charity. This only works out at around 2 hours of your work hours a month, so you can pay it forward while still being paid.

    Who we're looking for

    • Willing and able to work independently; basic knowledge of maintenance is essential.
    • Driving Licence and access to own transport is essential (car/van or motorcycle).
    • Physically fit and able to carry out maintenance/cleaning across site.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Goal orientated with some sales experience.
