A global manufacturing and technology business is looking for an experienced Accountant to join its London Finance team, with reporting responsibilities into US Head Office. This role is ideal for a detail-driven accounting professional who enjoys working beyond the surface of reports — investigating anomalies, tracing transactions through ERP systems, and ensuring accurate, compliant financial reporting.

  • Employee is eligible for a generous quarterly bonus from the first day of employment (quarterly bonus, based on company’s profitability)

Key Features of Role

  • Deliver accurate monthly financial close and management reporting
  • Analyse variances, review trial balances, and resolve discrepancies
  • Support VAT, EC Sales, Intrastat, and statutory reporting
  • Assist with audits, finance projects, and compliance initiatives
  • Partner with operations and global finance teams on Finance projects

What We’re Looking For

  • 5 years’ progressive accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Part-qualified or qualified (CIMA/ACCA qualifications)
  • Highly experienced with financial reporting and month/year end closing
  • Strong Excel skills and ERP experience (SAP highly desirable)
  • Experienced and knowledgeable with UK GAAP and group reporting requirements
  • Manufacturing or multi-currency experience preferred
  • Curious, analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
