Key Features of roleTo ensure the smooth running of the IT systems across the whole network, and ensure users get the maximum benefits from them. This role is full-time, working 5 days out of 7, with some weekend and bank holiday working.
As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing first-line technical support to staff, partners, and clients. You will support the IT helpdesk, troubleshoot technical issues, assist in IT development projects, and ensure smooth operations across multiple office locations.

- Educated to Degree level or equivalent experience within the IT domain
- Full UK drivers’ licence and own vehicle (Essential)
- Experience with Office 365, Active Directory and MS Entra (admin level)
- Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to support users at all levels
- A customer-focused mindset with a proactive and positive approach
- Familiarity with PC hardware, Microsoft operating systems, and networking essentials.
- Desirable skills: SQL, cyber security and VOIP phone systems
Helpdesk/Support
- Dealing with helpdesk queries using our ticketing system (Office 365)
- Multi-departmental support (including on-site support)
- Diagnosing hardware and software faults and solve technical and applications problems in a timely manner
- Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues (Active Directory)
- Removing leavers from the appropriate systems
- Prioritising and managing multiple open cases at one time and responding within agreed time limits to call-outs
Software
- Supporting the roll-out of new applications
Hardware
- Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications
- Complete a health check for all IT equipment in the company, to be monitored and reviewed regularly and replacing IT equipment and parts as required
- Testing and evaluating new technology
Network
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks and troubleshooting system and network problems
Administration
- Create and maintain an IT equipment inventory
- Ensure all IT procedures are reviewed and up to date
