The role:
We are looking for an experienced, commercial Retail/Sales Area Manager to play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of a small cluster of self-storage locations across West London. You will need to be very customer focused and sales/KPI driven. Our Area Managers are responsible for supporting staff in their day-to-day roles and progression, maximising sales and profit targets, helping customers with anything they may need, and ensuring all legal and company procedures are in place. This is a multi-site role, based in our Chiswick store, with responsibility for the Isleworth and Brentford Container sites. It is full-time, working 5 days out of 7, with some weekend and bank holiday working.

What you'll do:
Sales and Customer Service:- Drive teams to convert sales and help customers make informed decisions
- Achieve sales targets by maximising sales opportunities
- Provide outstanding customer service, always keeping our values in mind
- Resolve customer complaints, address customer concerns, and explain company policies
- Meet the revenue and growth targets, and control costs within a reasonable jurisdiction
- Manage the growth and development of the store and employees
- Demonstrate an active approach to achieve goals and objectives
- Recruit, train, develop and support staff to keep the standards of your team high
- Motivate staff to give their best results
- Provide high levels of leadership, encouragement, training, and support in order to help others achieve their results and meet their budgets
- Ensure effective administration of the store so that company systems, policies and procedures are always adhered to
- Create and implement effective marketing plans, and monitoring and reviewing results at regular intervals
- Promote the store in the local community by networking and liaising with local shops and businesses
