We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected care organisation for an experienced Team Leader to support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred services in the Bolton area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious care professional looking to step into a leadership role, supporting the Service Manager in driving excellence, developing teams, and improving outcomes for the people supported.
The Role
As a Team Leader, you will work closely with the Service Manager to oversee day-to-day service delivery, ensuring support is personalised, empowering, and aligned with best practice and regulatory standards. You will lead by example, motivating staff, promoting a positive culture, and ensuring the highest standards of care are consistently delivered.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the management of daily service delivery and staff performance
- Lead, motivate, and develop support staff through supervision and mentoring
- Ensure care is delivered in a person-centred, outcome-focused way
- Maintain compliance with CQC standards and safeguarding requirements
- Coordinate rotas and staffing levels to meet service needs
- Contribute to audits, quality assurance, and continuous improvement
- Support care planning, risk assessments, and reviews
- Build strong relationships with families, carers, and external professionals
- Participate in on-call duties and provide hands-on support where required
Requirements
- Experience in a senior support worker or team leader role within health & social care
- Strong understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding
- Knowledge of CQC standards and relevant legislation (including the Mental Capacity Act)
- Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team effectively
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Flexible approach to working hours
- Full UK driving licence (preferred/required depending on service)
