Key Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, your duties will include:
- Personal care: Supporting residents with daily personal hygiene, dressing and other personal care needs while maintaining their dignity and privacy.
- Domestic support: Assisting with household tasks and maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable living environment.
- Medication support: Assisting with medication in accordance with care plans, training and care home policies.
- Emotional support and companionship: Building positive relationships with residents and promoting their well-being.
- Daily living activities: Supporting residents with their daily routines, independence and social activities.
- Person-centred care: Respecting each resident’s individual needs, preferences and choices.
