Join a globally recognised Media & Entertainment organisation and play a pivotal role in shaping how data drives strategic decision‑making across the business. I am looking for a highly analytical and commercially minded Senior Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer to lead the development of impactful dashboards, scalable data models, and automated reporting solutions. This is a unique opportunity to work with senior stakeholders, transform complex business requirements into actionable insights, and influence decision‑making at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dashboards & Visualisation: Design and deliver high-quality dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel, and related technologies.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective analytics solutions.
  • Data Modelling: Build and maintain robust data models, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and adherence to governance standards.
  • Automation: Drive reporting automation and the continuous improvement of analytics frameworks.
  • Strategic Impact: Present insights, trends, and recommendations to senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
  • Best Practices: Champion best practices across data modelling, visualisation, and reporting standards.

Experience: 5+ years in Data Analytics, Analytics Engineering, Business Intelligence, Business Analysis, or related disciplines.

Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Power BI and SQL.

Core Competencies: Extensive experience in data modelling, data transformation, and dashboard development.

Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage stakeholders and gather requirements effectively.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication and data storytelling skills.

Desirable Extras: Experience with Power Automate, Azure, Tableau, or Python. Power BI and/or Azure certifications are highly desirable.

Working Arrangements

Location: Hybrid working; based in the UK with 3 days per week in the office.
