As a Resource Management Analyst, you\’ll be the strategic connector between project demand and resource supply—ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time. This role is pivotal in optimizing workforce allocation across IT teams, contractors, and business units, while driving continuous improvement through data-driven insights.
Resource Allocation & Demand Matching
- Manage allocation of staff and contractors across locations and teams.
- Liaise between project teams and Capability Centre (CC) managers to match skills with demand.
- Handle resource release and reallocation processes.
- Build trust with sponsors and stakeholders; participate actively in meetings.
- Resolve conflicts and communicate difficult decisions tactfully.
- Collaborate with the Sourcing team to onboard contractors.
- Ensure quality and consistency of resource management data.
- Identify current and future capability gaps.
- Produce insights and reports to support IT performance goals.
- Support initiatives within the Enterprise Resource Management (ERM) team.
- Drive improvements in resourcing processes and workforce planning.
General Accountabilities
- Oversee resource planning for groups of 300–600 FTEs.
- Use analytics to help CC managers build future-proof capabilities.
- Ensure technical, functional, and domain knowledge is well distributed.
- Solid understanding of IT disciplines and roles.
- Experience in resource/talent planning across diverse workforce models.
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to deliver in evolving business environments.
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with resourcing processes (e.g., demand validation, KPI tracking).
- Experience in reporting and analytics of resource data.
- Ability to develop solutions in areas with limited frameworks.
