Are you passionate about designing robust, scalable solutions that drive business performance? We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join our team in London. This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in the office.
About the Role
As a Solution Architect, you will play a key role in shaping technology solutions for complex projects. You will provide architecture development and assurance to ensure applications are well-designed and aligned with enterprise standards and reference architectures. This is primarily an individual contributor role, but you may lead a small team when required. You will work closely with senior business stakeholders, translating guidelines into practical solutions, solving technical challenges, and making recommendations that have a tangible impact on business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and assure solution architectures for projects, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.
- Translate architectural guidelines into practice and resolve technical challenges.
- Drive adoption of new technologies and identify opportunities to optimize IT systems.
- Create and maintain architecture artefacts using standard tools (IBM System Architect, PowerDesigner, ProVision).
- Manage relationships with senior business leaders and represent the company externally as a subject matter expert.
- Apply strategic roadmaps and reference architectures for Cloud, Mobile, Integration, OpenSource, Big Data, etc.
- Contribute to training and mentoring of other professionals in the field.
