The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a high-profile data platform transformation programme, working within a Platform Architecture and Design squad. This is a strategic, future-focused role where you will play a critical part in shaping the organisation’s next-generation, cloud-agnostic and vendor-agnostic data platform. You will work at the forefront of innovation, helping define the future state of data capabilities, rather than documenting current processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and shape solution-agnostic requirements aligned to long-term platform strategy
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across the business and technology teams
  • Drive the design of future-state data capabilities
  • Support agile squads in delivering incremental value (not big bang releases)
  • Structure and articulate complex problems into clear, actionable requirements
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across architecture, data, and engineering
  • Lead analysis activities, including stakeholder workshops, requirements gathering, and playback sessions
  • Support scope definition and sign-off processes

What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • Proven experience as a BA within large-scale transformation programmes
  • Enterprise-level experience preferred

Key Skills

  • Strong solution-agnostic mindset with the ability to define future-state requirements
  • Experience working on data-focused programmes or platforms
  • Comfortable engaging with concepts such as: Data ingestion, AI-enabled capabilities, Emerging data architectures (e.g. vector stores, graph databases)
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working with: Senior internal stakeholders, External partners, Cross-functional teams
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-change environment
