With a superb carehome.co.uk rating of 9.9 and Care Inspectorate grades of 5, 4, 4, 5, and 5, we are proud to provide compassionate, high-quality care that supports dignity and wellbeing.

Templeton House is a 69-bed care home providing residential, nursing and dementia care across three dedicated communities. For many years, the home has been a trusted choice for families seeking high-quality care delivered with compassion, dignity and professionalism. Today, the home continues to benefit from an experienced core team, strong relationships within the local community and an excellent 9.9 Carehome.co.uk review score. Occupancy remains healthy, and agency usage is relatively low compared to many services across the sector in this region.

At the same time, we recognise there is more to achieve. Templeton House currently holds Care Inspectorate grades of 3, 4, 4, 5, 5, and while there are many strengths to build upon, we are looking for a leader who can drive greater consistency, strengthen clinical oversight, develop the team and continue improving the quality of care and resident experience. This is not a turnaround project. Nor is it a home that has reached its ceiling. It is a service with significant potential and a genuine opportunity for the right Home Manager to leave a legacy.

  • £60,000 - £65,000 per annum
  • Annual bonus, KPI-related, up to 40% per annum

  • Demonstrates excellent leadership, coaching and communication skills
  • Is commercially aware and confident managing budgets and occupancy
  • Builds positive relationships with residents, families, professionals and regulators
  • Is confident managing change whilst maintaining team engagement
  • Holds a nursing qualification (desirable but not essential)

Most importantly, you will be a visible leader who leads with integrity, compassion and accountability. You’ll recognise and value the experience of long-serving colleagues while bringing fresh energy, clear expectations and a commitment to continuous improvement.
