An exciting opportunity for a Senior UEM/MDM Solution Architect to take ownership of the design, evolution, and governance of a large-scale Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) platform built on Workspace ONE. This is a specialist architecture role focused on mobile and macOS endpoint ecosystems, offering the chance to shape enterprise endpoint strategy in a complex environment. This is not a traditional Windows/SCCM-focused role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of the Workspace ONE/UEM platform
- Define and evolve endpoint management strategy across mobile and Mac ecosystems
- Drive platform integrations and configuration management frameworks
- Produce conceptual and solution architecture artefacts aligned to enterprise standards
- Conduct risk analysis, gap assessments, and solution modelling
- Support enterprise-level technical decision-making
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture, platform, and engineering teams
- Drive automation initiatives, including GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, and configuration-as-code
Required Experience
- 10+ years' overall IT experience
- 3-5 years' experience in Solution Architecture roles
- Strong expertise in Workspace ONE (Omnissa)
- Deep knowledge of UEM/Mobile Device Management (MDM)
- Proven experience managing macOS, iOS/iPadOS, and Android environments
- Strong understanding of endpoint management architecture and integrations
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and/or Jamf Pro
- Familiarity with GitOps and Infrastructure as Code practices
- Exposure to architecture modelling frameworks (eg ArchiMate or similar)
Important Information
This role is focused on mobile and macOS endpoint environments. Candidates with primarily Windows/SCCM backgrounds will not be suitable. Generic cloud or infrastructure architects without UEM expertise will not be considered.
Working Environment
You will work within a structured enterprise architecture framework, contributing to governance processes and collaborating closely with endpoint, platform, and architecture teams. The role offers exposure to established architecture standards, tools, and methodologies, supporting strategic decision-making at scale.
