We are seeking a highly experienced Endur Architect to join a major energy trading and commodities organisation on a long-term contract engagement. This role offers an initial 6-month contract, with strong potential for extension up to 2 years. This is a senior-level position where you will play a key role in shaping and delivering complex, enterprise-wide architecture solutions across trading platforms and associated systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the lead architect for a significant business domain or enterprise-wide capability, owning solution design end-to-end.
- Design and oversee E2E technical architecture across integration, security, hosting, and application layers.
- Provide architectural leadership for complex solution landscapes, ensuring scalability, resilience, and alignment with business goals.
- Diagnose and resolve highly complex, non-routine technical challenges, delivering practical and innovative solutions.
- Translate best practices from across industries to improve and simplify architectural frameworks and processes.
- Define, evolve, and govern architecture standards, policies, and procedures.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing authoritative technical advice to senior stakeholders and business leadership.
- Drive the adoption of new solutions, tools, and ways of working to improve system efficiency and performance.
- Influence the redesign of business processes and data models, working closely with process owners and data stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior business and technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and trust.
- Mentor and develop junior architects and technical team members.
