You'll join a friendly, ambitious and collaborative team where your housing compliance, technical property and legislative knowledge will be valued. With ongoing industry-recognised training, professional accreditations and clear development opportunities, you'll have the support to build a rewarding career in building surveying and property services.
The recruitment process will be undertaken in partnership with Ian Williams Ltd.
Benefits:
- Basic Salary of £35,898
- Plan for your future with an employer pension contribution of up to 5%
- 31 days’ paid holiday, including bank holidays, with the flexibility to buy up to 5 additional days or sell up to 3 days each year
- Annual pay reviews
- Life Insurance
- Enhanced maternity/ paternity pay
- Training and development opportunities
- Trade discounts from our preferred suppliers for you and your friends and family
- Access to the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity to support your health and wellbeing, including free legal and financial advice.
The Technical Building Coordinator role:
Reporting to the Lead Compliance Surveyor, you'll coordinate key property processes including mutual exchanges, tenant permission requests, compliance no-access cases and wayleave agreements, helping services run smoothly from initial enquiry through to resolution.
Working closely with residents, surveyors, contractors and legal partners, you'll provide a professional, customer-focused compliance service while ensuring every case meets legislative, tenancy and organisational requirements.
You'll also enjoy an agile working environment, with time split between the office, the community and, where appropriate, home.
What will you bring as Property Services Coordinator?
- Experience in social housing, property management or a related property services field, supported by a basic but sound understanding of housing compliance, construction methods and building pathology, essential.
- Practical experience in coordinating compliance processes and documentation. Applications are welcomed from technical property backgrounds such as property inspection, compliance, asset management and building surveying.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach, enabling you to work effectively with residents, colleagues and external stakeholders.
