Multi Trade Operative
Our business is growing and so are the opportunities for you to thrive. We are currently looking for a skilled Multi Trade Operative to join our successful Response business based in Newton Abbot. You will specialise in carrying out Responsive Maintenance Repairs to our customers properties.

Role
- Use your skills to undertake multi trade work, including jobs related to plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, and carpentry repair. Working in a domestic setting, you have the opportunity to utilise your fault‑finding and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Attend reactive, emergency and routine repairs, and on occasions planned refurbishment jobs (within void properties).
- Typical repairs can include broken taps, leaking pipes, drainage unblocks and general kitchen and bathroom repair work.
- Work in a domestic environment, interacting with residents and team members.
- Emergency call‑out will be expected on a rota basis.
Qualifications
- Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant trade.
- Experience of working within a domestic/social housing environment or relevant response environment (not essential).
- Passion for improving people’s homes, strong customer‑service values and enjoyment of working with people.
- Driving licence with eligibility to drive in the UK.
