You will specialise in carrying out Responsive Maintenance Repairs to our customers' properties. The Electrician role:
We’re committed to keeping you safe, happy and supported; therefore Health and Safety is paramount throughout the responsibilities of this role, for you, us, and the customer.
- Undertaking electrical repairs and maintenance work within a social housing domestic setting, with occasional electrical testing requirements.
- Attending reactive, emergency, and routine repairs, and on occasions planned refurbishment jobs (within void properties).
- Working in a domestic environment, you enjoy working with people, whether as a team, or with the residents.
- Emergency call out will be expected, on a rota basis.
What you will bring as an Electrician:
- Qualified to an NVQ level 3 as an Electrician, or similar professional body (e.g., City & Guilds), with 18th Edition certificate and AM2 Test and Inspect qualification desirable.
- Ideally experience of working within a domestic / social housing environment, or relevant response environment experience (albeit not essential).
- Having a passion for making a difference to people's homes, you have strong values in delivering exceptional customer service skills, and enjoy working with people.
- Driving license, with eligibility to drive in the UK.
