Responsibilities
- You will receive calls and emails regarding the organisation and booking of residential repairs and minor refurbishment works on Teign Housing properties.
- You will also make outbound calls to residents to book essential compliance testing works (gas, mechanical and electrical).
- You will consistently liaise with residents and operational trade teams to achieve the best service delivery possible.
- Using our dynamic scheduling system, you will manage operative diaries to ensure all works are carried out efficiently, within agreed timescales (SLAs), whilst keeping operatives fully utilised and delivering an excellent customer service experience.
- Managing the emergent day, dealing with emergencies and exceptions, to ensure the most appropriate service is delivered to residents.
- You will act as the first point of contact for customers and trade operatives to help with issues and to provide effective resolutions swiftly.
- You will input up-to-date, accurate and complete notes for each job/task in the system, contributing to our contract performance tracking and high performance.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable planning/scheduling experience ideally obtained from a fast-paced dynamic environment involving high-volume telephone communication.
- Housing repairs background is highly advantageous.
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office) with aptitude to pick up new systems and follow processes consistently.
- Excellent communication skills, with strength of character and ownership/accountability to make decisions and follow them through to completion and satisfaction.
- Proactive and able to use initiative.
- Determined, resilient, and motivated to achieve targets, taking pride in completing and achieving results independently and as part of a team.
