We are working with a well established and growing Block Management company based in Fleet who are looking to appoint an experienced Block Manager to join their team. This role offers a balanced portfolio and a supportive working environment, with the flexibility of hybrid working once established in the role.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing a mixed residential portfolio located across Hampshire and West Sussex. The portfolio consists of a variety of developments, including purpose built apartment blocks and residential estates. Working closely with leaseholders, residents, contractors and directors, you will ensure properties are managed to a high standard and in line with all regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a residential portfolio across Hampshire and West Sussex
- Preparing and managing service charge budgets
- Overseeing planned maintenance and major works projects
- Managing Section 20 consultation processes
- Attending site visits and resident meetings where required
- Liaising with contractors and monitoring service delivery
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handling leaseholder queries and maintaining strong client relationships
About You
- Previous experience in Block Management or residential property management
- Strong understanding of service charge budgets and property legislation
- Experience managing contractors and major works projects
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage a portfolio independently
- A professional qualification or working towards one would be advantageous but is not essential.
