An established and growing financial planning practice is seeking a Client Services Specialist to join its support team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience within financial services administration who is looking to further develop their career within a professional and supportive environment. The business offers future progression opportunities into Paraplanning or Senior Client Services roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete presale administration, including adding client information to the XPLAN database and creating/updating Wealth Reports.
- Prepare and gather information such as Letters of Authority (LOAs) and policy information checklists.
- Undertake meeting preparation and provide advisers with complete documentation ahead of client meetings.
- Carry out basic report writing including Fund Switches, Reviews, and New Business cases.
- Conduct basic research using systems such as FE, Defaqto, and Cashcalc.
- Process New Business and Review Case administration, including submitting applications to providers online and via manual forms.
- Ensure cases are progressed efficiently and placed in force as quickly as possible.
- Maintain accurate client files in line with compliance standards.
- Support paraplanners and assist with wider administration duties where required.
- Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls with clients, providers, and external partners professionally and efficiently.
What We’re Looking For:
- Understanding of the financial planning process.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience within a Financial Planning or IFA environment.
- Experience using systems such as XPLAN, FE, Defaqto, or Cashcalc.
- Desire to progress into a Paraplanner or Senior Client Services role in the future.
- Interest in studying towards industry-recognised Level 4 qualifications (CII or LIBF).
