Role Overview:
We are looking for aProtection Paraplannerto provide dedicated support in protection planning, including preparing reports, completing suitability letters, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role will involve working closely with advisers and the wider team to deliver high-quality, accurate documentation and administration for clients protection plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare protection reports, suitability letters, and other client-facing documentation
- Support advisers with administration of protection business, including life insurance, critical illness cover, and income protection
- Ensure all advice and documentation is fully compliant with FCA and company standards
- Liaise with clients, insurers, and advisers to gather information and clarify requirements
- Maintain accurate client records and administration on Xplan and other internal systems
- Support the wider paraplanning and admin team as needed
Qualifications & Experience:
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning preferred (QBE candidates considered)
- Previous experience in protection paraplanning or IFA administration
- Strong knowledge of protection products, FCA regulations, and compliance requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
