About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Paraplanner to join a small, close-knit financial planning team in Summertown, Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to step into a vital support role with potential for long-term growth into advising. You will be working alongside advisers and administrators to deliver high-quality financial planning support. Your analytical skills and technical knowledge will be crucial in ensuring clients receive tailored, compliant financial advice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and compiling suitability reports in line with current legislation and internal standards
- Conducting product and provider research, including investments, pensions, and protection
- Using platforms such as Salesforce, iBusiness, Voyant, Pensions Lab, and Monday.com
- Supporting advisers with financial strategies, cashflow modelling (where applicable), and recommendations
- Ensuring accurate record-keeping and maintaining compliant client files
- Liaising with clients and providers as needed
Requirements:
- Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or working towards it)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a paraplanning role
- High level of IT proficiency and attention to detail
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- QBE (Qualified by Experience) candidates may be considered on merit.
