A well-established financial planning firm is seeking a highly experienced and proactive Paraplanner / Practice Manager to join its close-knit team. This is a senior position supporting the Director and playing a key role in the day-to-day operations of the firm. The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to turn their hand to a broad range of tasks within a small team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality paraplanning support, including detailed research, analysis, and suitability report writing across pensions, investments, and protection.
- Work closely with the Director to manage client cases and ensure a smooth client journey.
- Oversee the operational functions of the office, helping to coordinate tasks and support team members as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure files are fully compliant.
- Liaise with clients, product providers, and professional connections as required.
- Assist with process improvements and the implementation of best practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent).
- Extensive paraplanning experience in an IFA or wealth management environment.
- Comfortable working in a small team and taking on a variety of responsibilities.
- Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, and taxation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proficient in financial planning software and Microsoft Office.
