About the Company:

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner or Senior IFA Administrator looking to take the next step into financial advice. The role offers a genuine hybrid route, allowing you to continue utilising your technical Paraplanner expertise while developing the skills and experience needed to become a fully competent Financial Adviser. With full study support, all client leads provided, and a transparent career pathway, this opportunity is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality suitability reports and carry out technical research across pensions, investments and protection.
- Support advisers by preparing recommendations and maintaining compliance standards.
- Attend client meetings alongside senior advisers before gradually taking ownership of your own client relationships.
- Deliver holistic financial planning advice as you progress towards Competent Adviser Status (CAS).
- Manage new and existing client reviews, ensuring an exceptional client experience.
- Maintain accurate client records and work within FCA and company compliance procedures.
- Continue developing your technical knowledge through ongoing professional qualifications and training.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience working within an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) practice as a Paraplanner or Senior IFA Administrator.
- Strong technical knowledge with experience writing complex suitability reports.
- Ideally Level 4 Diploma qualified (DipPFS/CII/CISI) or close to completing the qualification.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A genuine ambition to progress from Paraplanner into a client-facing Financial Adviser role.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.
- Able to commute to Buxton, Derbyshire.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience using financial planning and provider platforms.
- Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and protection products.
- Confidence supporting advisers with technical planning strategies.
- Previous experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA environment.
- Working towards Chartered Financial Planner status would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Motivated to develop from a technical Paraplanner position into a successful Financial Adviser career.
