About the Firm

Draft high-quality suitability reports to support advisers.

Provide day-to-day technical support on financial planning matters.

Calculate and assess Capital Gains Tax (CGT) liabilities including exemptions, losses, and asset histories.

Undertake chargeable event gain calculations for investment bonds.

Support pension income calculations, including annual/lifetime allowance assessments and drawdown strategies.
-
Assist with detailed cashflow modelling (e.g. Voyant) for adviser and client presentations.

Gather and analyse client data, including valuations, fact finds, and policy details.
-
Liaise with providers and platforms for information and investment valuations.

Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and maintain accurate client records in IO.

Act as a technical point of contact for adviser queries.

Contribute to process improvements within the technical and compliance team.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience in a paraplanning or technical support role within an IFA, wealth management, or financial planning firm.

Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, ISAs, and protection products.

Awareness of FCA regulations and compliance requirements.

Confident in using financial planning tools (e.g. Intelligent Office, Voyant, Dynamic Planner) and Microsoft Office.

Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.

High attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality work.

Motivated, confident, and eager to learn with a positive outlook.

Ideally progressing through RO exams / Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (exam support provided).
