Temple University's Barnett College of Public Health is searching for a Part‑time Peer Engagement Co‑Co‑ordinator!
Salary range: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour.
Salary is based on responsibilities, education, experience and internal equity guidelines.
The position is grant‑funded and requires local travel.
Position Summary
The Peer Engagement Co‑Co‑ordinator will support a funded research study that compares peer‑supported travel training to non‑peer travel training.
Responsibilities include implementing the "Ready to Ride" intervention Peer Support approach, monitoring and evaluating program fidelity, and organizing and conducting training sessions for Peer Supporters with disabilities across study sites.
- Required Education And Experience
- Minimum two years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- Required Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office, email, calendar management, shared drives, and web‑conferencing apps (e. g., Zoom).
- Team‑player who can support multidisciplinary research staff and leadership.
- Independent work style with clear communication of questions or issues to supervisors.
- Ability to interact with and address the needs of a diverse stakeholder population.
- Attention to detail and adherence to project deadlines.
- Strong written and oral communication skills for in‑person and virtual settings.
- Research ability, including internet and scholarly literature searches.
- Local travel required.
Essential Duties
- Coordinate multi‑site activities for the PCORI grant‑funded project.
- Support implementation of the "Ready to Ride" intervention across sites.
- Peer Support Ready To Ride Approach
- Ensure intervention fidelity through monitoring and evaluation.
- Schedule, plan, and conduct training sessions for interventionists.
- Prepare educational and instructional materials (video, audio, written).
- Communicate with and coordinate interventionists via email, phone, or text.
- Offer individualized support to Peer Supporters.
- Collaborate to resolve implementation challenges and meet stakeholder needs.
This position may involve a hybrid work arrangement (on‑campus and remote) as determined by Temple University and the Department.
