Temple University seeks an accomplished and forward-thinking leader to serve as the Assistant Vice President (AVP) for Undergraduate Admissions. The AVP will provide strategic direction and leadership in developing and implementing comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract, admit, and enroll a diverse and talented student body, including transfer students.

The AVP provides strategic leadership for undergraduate recruitment and admissions operations in support of the university's comprehensive enrollment strategy. The role is responsible for developing staffing models and budget plans that align resources with institutional enrollment goals.

Working in close partnership with the financial aid and information technology teams, the AVP leads the design and implementation of business processes that improve operational efficiency and enhance the prospective student experience. The AVP oversees policies and procedures that ensure efficient and effective processing of applications and leads the management and continuous development of SLATE as the institution's central CRM platform.

The position also evaluates and advances the use of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, to strengthen recruitment strategy and operational effectiveness. The AVP builds and leads a high-performing team that uses market analysis, territory management, and best practices to achieve the university's enrollment goals.

In addition, the AVP partners with the Vice President for Enrollment Management to align recruitment and student success strategies to advance university goals. This role will cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with campus partners across schools and colleges, academic affairs, student affairs, and alumni engagement, as well as with external stakeholders, to foster a campus-wide culture of recruitment.

In collaboration with the Vice President, the AVP will also assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive strategic enrollment management plan and perform other related duties as assigned.
