Join Our Team at NHS Wales Joint Commissioning Committee (NWJCC). Following the establishment of the NWJCC on 1 April 2024 and a recent organisational restructure, we are seeking a Commissioning Manager - National Programmes (NWJCC), Joint Commissioning Committee (JCC) to support our journey as a newly formed organisation. The NWJCC is a joint committee of the seven health boards in Wales, with a Chair and Lay Members, supporting collaborative commissioning across Wales. Around 120 staff are based in Mold and Nantgarw/Treforest. Our mission is to be The Centre of Excellence for Collaborative Commissioning, improving health and care outcomes across Wales. We commission around 220 services, from NHS 111 and ambulance services to specialised rare disease services and mental health, operating a £1.14bn budget.

Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Commissioning to manage a designated portfolio within a Commissioning Directorate, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred services.
- Coordinate the planning, stakeholder engagement, and performance management of the delegated portfolio to achieve the best outcomes for patients and the organisation.
- Support the overarching contract management and review, leading on specific services or contracts across the Directorate, utilising strong commissioning skills, collaborating with the Head of Commissioning to ensure appropriateness and consistency to deliver high quality, equitable services delivering improved outcomes for patients and value for money.
