Our People Services function is looking for a People Services Advisor to join us as we redefine how we deliver operational HR support across Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board. The People Services Advisor is an important and integral member of the People Directorate. They will support the Senior People Services Advisors and People Services Leaders in the delivery of a comprehensive range of professional proactive and reactive people activities and services across the Health Board. This will require them to use their generalist people knowledge, skills and experience, to coach and support managers and staff, as appropriate, in respect of a diverse range of employment relation matters.
The role currently supports hybrid working with a mixture of working from home, the office and various Health Board sites across the CTM portfolio with a high degree of autonomy in managing your own schedule within core working hours.
A Day In The Life Of a People Services Advisor is fast-paced and varied and draws upon your professional credibility, integrity and drive to make a difference. You will regularly participate in activities with a high degree of autonomy which offer you the chance to:
- Use and develop your technical employee relations skills to solve problems and provide best practice advice in people management processes.
- Contribute to the design, testing and adoption of new people related technology and digitalisation opportunities, which will modernise our people practices and approaches and inform compassionate decision making.
- Support scope, design and delivery of new HR products and services which address real needs across our teams.
- Deliver online and face-to-face learning interventions to build confidence amongst our colleagues in the application of people policies and discretionary decision making.
- Support our strategic People Directorate colleagues in the delivery of organisational change projects and HR solutions designed to meet our ambitious people priorities.
