Overview The post holder will work as a member of the District Nursing Service under the direction and supervision of the Team Leader District Nursing. The post holder will contribute to the implementation of nursing care as assessed and prescribed by the Registered Nurse, including working in a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency arena alongside the primary health care team.
This post is fixed term/secondment for 24 months to cover a secondment. If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.
Qualifications The post holder will hold Level 3 NVQ/QSF in a health care associated certificate or possess skills, knowledge and experience to equivalent level, and be prepared to commit to begin this qualification within 3 months of commencing in the role.
Welsh skills (Desirable) Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. This doesnt mean essential; whilst the candidate doesn\\\’t need to have skills in Welsh, we\\\’ll consider it an advantage when short-listing and selecting candidates. This isn\\\’t fluency, just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health.
