A Housekeeper/Caterer is required for Rowan House, Ely, Cardiff. This dual-role position within the Unit requires experience in both Catering and Housekeeping. The post offers 20 hours per week (5 hours per day) with AM and PM shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide good nutritional value to patients and maintain high cleaning standards to keep the Unit clean and safe.
- Operate as a dual role in Catering and Housekeeping within the Unit.
- Work 20 hours per week, typically 5 hours per day, covering AM and PM shifts (8:00am β 1:00pm and 1:00pm β 6:00pm). A 3-week rota pattern covers both shifts on a daily basis.
- Travel to the Unit independently as required due to location in Ely, Cardiff.
- Demonstrate a flexible approach to meet service usersβ needs.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience in both Catering and Housekeeping in a healthcare or similar environment.
- Accredited Food Hygiene Certificate is required for the post.
- Fluency in Welsh and/or English is welcome; Welsh is desirable.
- Ability to travel to the Unit independently due to location in Ely, Cardiff.
