The role supports hybrid working with a mix of home, office and Health Board sites, offering a high degree of autonomy in managing your schedule within core working hours. The People Services Advisor will be an important and integral member of the People Directorate, helping deliver a comprehensive range of professional, proactive and reactive people activities and services across the Health Board. You will use generalist people knowledge to coach and support managers and staff on a diverse range of employment relations matters.

You will regularly participate in activities with a high degree of autonomy and will have opportunities to apply your credibility, integrity and drive to make a difference.

Responsibilities

  • Use and develop technical employee relations skills to solve problems and provide best practice advice in people management processes.
  • Contribute to design, testing and adoption of new people-related technology and digitalisation opportunities to modernise people practices and inform compassionate decision making.
  • Support scope, design and delivery of new HR products and services addressing real needs across teams.
  • Deliver online and face-to-face learning interventions to build confidence in applying people policies and discretionary decision making.
  • Support strategic People Directorate colleagues in delivering organisational change projects and HR solutions aligned with ambitious people priorities.
