We are expanding our laboratory team and are seeking to recruit an Asbestos Bulk Analyst to join our UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy, providing services to a broad portfolio of public and private sector clients.
The Role
- Analysis of asbestos bulk samples in accordance with UKAS requirements
- Perform analysis using microscopes or SEM (scanning electron microscope)
- Data entry of all results collected from analysis carried out
- Formulating and writing asbestos analysis reports
- Liaising with clients regarding analytical results and technical queries
- Working closely with Quality and Operations teams to ensure ongoing compliance
Essential Requirements (Qualified Analysts)
- BOHS P401 or RSPH Level 3 Asbestos Bulk Analysis qualification
- Minimum 6 months’ experience working within a UKAS-accredited asbestos laboratory
- Minimum 1 year experience in asbestos bulk identification
- Good IT skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a regulated laboratory environment
