The Local Authority is seeking a committed and skilled
Youth Offending Team Leader to join our multi-agency Youth Justice Service (YJS). In line with the Crime and Disorder Act 1998, you will work with partners to prevent offending, reduce re-offending, and support positive outcomes for children, young people, victims, and communities. About the Role
You will manage a caseload of children and young people subject to statutory court orders or out-of-court disposals, delivering targeted interventions that address offending behaviour, reduce risk, and build protective factors. The role involves direct work with young people and families, court attendance, partnership working, and contributing to high-quality assessments and reports. Key Responsibilities
Supervise statutory orders and support young people to comply with court requirements.
Prepare high-quality assessments and reports, including AssetPlus and pre-sentence reports.
Attend Youth Court, Crown Court, and occasional weekend/
