The Client
My client is a market leading FinTech business that spun-out of one of the largest and most successful hedge funds in the world. Their offering is a suite of front-to-back portfolio management solutions for derivatives trading. Specifically, a PMS providing pre-trade analytics for pricing & risk and ongoing PnL Management, in addition to an OEMS with STP capability. They are a product-led organisation and are looking at strengthening their core product units with a strong product manager in order to deliver on an ambitious and transformative roadmap that will lead onto a path of sustained growth. Delivery is enabled through a large scale scrum framework where each product unit will be staffed with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers to ensure end-to-end implementation.
The Product Manager will advance the development of their PMS product in line with their commercial vision: from product specification, through prioritisation, to delivery.

What You'll Do
- Support the macro product end to end from data, to application, to end-user experience.
- Provide business requirements for project work advancing the roadmap.
- Work with product analytics and software development teams in translating requirements into detailed specification.
- Run feature teams on a day-to-day basis following agile methodology.
- Manage business as usual development tasks, including product support and bug fixes.
- Project manage feature delivery.
- Document feature and other business deliverables for internal and external communication.
- Deliver product demonstrations to support sales calls.
What You'll Need
- 5 years or more of experience in a product and/or quantitative finance related role.
- Knowledge of developer workflows and an understanding of financial products and analytics.
- Knowledge of macro product and derivatives.
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear communication including an interest in presenting the product to prospects and clients.
