We’re partnering with a globally recognised, technology-driven investment firm to hire a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to help design and automate large-scale hybrid infrastructure across Windows and cloud environments. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on automation, reliability, and platform scalability, not ticket-based support.
What you’ll work on:
- Designing and improving core infrastructure systems that support large-scale, data-intensive workloads.
- Building and evolving Windows-based infrastructure (Active Directory, core services, enterprise systems).
- Developing and maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or similar).
- Automating operational processes and reducing manual workload.
- Supporting and expanding Azure and AWS cloud environments.
- Improving system performance, reliability, and observability.
- Working closely with engineers and traders on high-performance systems.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong experience in several of the following is important:
- Strong scripting/coding ability (PowerShell, Python, Go, or Shell).
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, etc.).
- Strong Windows infrastructure knowledge (Active Directory, Windows Server, enterprise environments).
- Understanding of storage, virtualisation, and distributed systems.
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure.
- Exposure to monitoring, logging, and observability tooling.
- A mindset focused on automation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
