My client is a market leading FinTech business that spun-out of one of the largest and most successful hedge funds in the world. Their offering is a suite of technology and investment management infrastructure services that they provide to the world's leading hedge funds and asset managers. They are looking for a Graduate Quant Developer to join their team based in London. Please note: my client is looking for someone to join them in Summer 2026.

What You'll Do

The developers are organized into feature teams, with each feature team containing a mix of front and back-end skills. Within C# they have a mix of quant developers and software engineers bringing finance knowledge and enterprise scale software development respectively. The stack is comprised mostly of C# (.NET 10 onwards) services which call into a proprietary C++ quant library and present results via a React frontend. Hosted on Linux in AWS with large calculations distributed over many instances and messaging via Redis. Trades are ingested from third-party platforms via FIX feeds, with services primarily written in Scala and Java. Source control, CI, CD and issue tracking are all done in GitLab. Infrastructure is provisioned with Terraform, Docker and CloudFormation. The successful candidate will join the Quantitative Analytics team and is expected to contribute to the implementation of new models and analytics into the core platform (written in C#), as well as the development of new features on the platform. Furthermore, the role will entail the enhancement of their core Quant Analytics library (written in C++) and front office tools (written in Python).

What You'll Need

  • Recent graduate in Computer Science, Maths, Physics, Engineering or similar from a top tier university.
  • Strong skills in at least one programming language; C#, Python & C++ would be particularly beneficial.
  • Knowledge of coding fundamentals e.g. modern software design principles, data structures, algorithms.
  • Strong logical thinker who enjoys solving complex problems and is interested in exploring quantitative development as a career.
  • A strong interest in finance, pricing analytics and financial instruments.
  • Great communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
