My client is a leading FinTech business delivering technology and investment management infrastructure services to some of the world's leading hedge funds and asset managers. They are looking for a Market Data and Contracts Administrator to play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and compliant management of their market data vendor relationships and associated financial controls. This position combines wider contract administration with operational oversight of market data systems, ensuring cost efficiency, contractual compliance, and seamless service delivery across the organisation.

What You'll Do
Market Data Operations
- Administer and maintain the market data permissioning system (DACS).
- Monitor usage to ensure compliance with contractual limits and entitlements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal market data queries and vendor-related issues.
- Liaise with market data vendors to resolve operational issues and expedite matters to senior contacts as required.
- Maintain accurate records of user entitlements, vendor agreements, and service levels within the Inventory system.
- Support the business in understanding vendor terms, capabilities, and restrictions.
- Reconcile market data invoices against order forms, contracts, and usage data within the Inventory system.
- Maintain the market data contract and invoice management system (TRG), ensuring all records are current, accurate, and well-organised.
- Process and submit declaration reports to vendors and exchanges.
Contracts Administration
- Create and maintain a central contract register, ensuring all active contracts and agreements are recorded, current, and easily accessible.
- Track key contract dates including renewals, expiries, and performance review points, notifying relevant stakeholders in advance.
- Review supplier invoices to confirm alignment with contractual terms, pricing schedules, and deliverables prior to their approval.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve billing or contract-related queries.
- Support budget tracking and spend reporting by linking invoices to the corresponding contracts.
- Support vendor audits by preparing documentation and responding to information requests.
General Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendor contacts.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Provide regular reporting on vendor spend, usage trends, and compliance matters.
What You'll Need
- 2+ years of experience in market data administration and/or vendor management.
- Experience working with financial market data vendors (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv, ICE, S&P).
- Understanding of market data licensing models and permissioning frameworks.
- Experience with invoice reconciliation and vendor financial administration.
- Familiarity with contract management platforms.
- Understanding of vendor contract structures and licensing terms.
- Ability to analyse financial data and produce clear reporting.
