We are seeking an experienced and compassionate QTS Tutor to support a young person accessing Alternative Provision in the Codsall area of Staffordshire. This is a rewarding 1:1 role for someone who is confident working with learners with SEN and understands the importance of consistency, structure and relationship-building outside of a mainstream school setting.

The Student
A young person currently accessing Alternative Provision and requiring tailored academic support.

Support Required

  • At least 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience.
  • Experience supporting students with SEN is essential.
  • Ability to deliver calm, structured and engaging 1:1 tuition.
  • Strong understanding of Alternative Provision environments.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.

Safeguarding & Eligibility
A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). Right to work in the UK is essential.

Location
In-person support in Codsall, Staffordshire.

Hours
6 hours per week. Tutoring takes place during our core hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–15:30.

Pay
£30 per hour.

This role would suit a patient, reliable tutor who is passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and helping them re-engage with learning in a supportive, nurturing environment.
